Broken screw Extractor KIT

A broken screw inside an implant is a serious, albeit not very frequent, problem. With the BROKEN SCREW EXTRACTOR KIT system, the broken screw can be removed from the implant, if it has not been cemented or the internal thread of the implant has not been damaged in a previous removal attempt. In 90% of cases the broken screw can be easily unscrewed but the operation must be performed with great skill, patience and attention. The time required for removal can depend on many factors, including the position of the implant which can facilitate or complicate the operation.

Procedure
Insert the CLAW DRILL into the CENTERING BODY, insert them into the implant and with constant pressure on the broken screw using the MANUAL DRILL HOLDER, unscrew it and remove it from the implant.

In case the screw gets stuck inside the implant, use the CLAW DRILL with the 20:1 implant contra-angle. Set the implant insertion program counterclockwise and insist on the broken screw to flatten it and prepare it for the SPECIAL DRILL which will destroy it.

Insert the SPECIAL DRILL into the CENTERING BODY of the 20:1 implantology contra-angle. Set the program anti-clockwise with a speed between 500 and 600 rpm. Refrigerate with plenty of water. Start the rotation, hold it for no more than 3 seconds on the broken screw and release. This alternating movement facilitates the entry of water for cooling the system and the DRILL. It is absolutely necessary that the CENTERING BODY does not move during the entire operation.

If the CENTERING BODY moves, the SPECIAL DRILL will break. Once all the laser engravings of the SPECIAL DRILL disappear in the CENTERING BODY the operation is complete and the screw is completely destroyed.

Once the screw has been destroyed, any chips can be removed from the cavity with air, water and suction.

ATTENTION
During use, it is mandatory to refrigerate the CENTERING BODY, the CLAW DRILL and the SPECIAL DRILL with plenty of water in order not to overheat the system; this will preserve the bone from any risk of overheating and necrosis. The CLAW CUTTER and SPECIAL CUTTER are extremely hard but brittle to bending; to avoid breakage it is absolutely necessary that the CENTERING BODY does not move during the entire operation.
